Winter Olympian arrives in LA to train for figure skating competition

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The ice prince is back.

Winter Olympian Michael Martinez arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday night with his mother and brother.

Martinez will resume his US training in California as well as New Jersey in preparation for October’s Grand Prix in Chicago.

Martinez recently signed a P9 million a year sponsorship with ShoeMart before he left the Philippines.

“It feels great to be back here, kasi naka train na ako and learn the new quad,” said Martinez.
