Why a Fil-Am group targets Apple in its anti-China boycott

NEW YORK CITY – One of the biggest Filipino American organizations in the country is calling for a boycott of products made in China to protest China’s reclamation activities in the West Philippine Sea. So why is the US Pinoys for Good Governance group protesting Apple? Community leader Loida Nicolas Lewis explains in this report.

    the chinese are emotionless compared to filipinos, and are driven solely in the name of money. protests likely not going to affect their plans to topple those who will cross their paths of occupation. true, if the big businesses like apple, whose gadgets like the iphone all made in china are not bought by consumers worldwide, it sure will hit china’s wallets with dents, may not be that deep to hit china’s bottomline, since most products needed / wanted by humans are manufactured in china, facilitated by american big businesses selling them to american consumers. i said before, its not easy to boycott china’s products for human’s needs, and easier to not buy china’s products for human’s wants. consumers gravitate on products made in china for one reason only – CHEAP. to collapse china’s economy is a huge undertaking. one thing is for sure, if china goes bankrupt, it will definitely lose its steam of aggressions.
