Filipino food continues to evolve and one mobile Pinoy eatery, the White Rabbit Truck in Los Angeles, has taken it to the next level, marking their achievements by challenging people to eat a 6-pound burrito filled with chicken adobo.
White Rabbit celebrated the grand opening of its second food truck.
The truck, which has been featured by foodies and mainstream outlets, is one of the West Coast’s most well-known pioneers of Filipino fusion food.
First launched in 2010, along with several other SoCal-based Filipino food trucks, the rest have come and gone. But even after attempts at three physical restaurants, White Rabbit has managed to keep cooking.
“It means… we’re doing something right,” said co-founder Melvin Chua. “It’s out there. We’re getting a lot more people to try Filipino food, which has always been our mission.”
The original truck can be found at the Pacific Catch small strip-small in Artesia, and the new truck will be making more trips for hungry fans across LA County.
