TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines – Philippine Vice President Jejomar Binay is in the hot seat for distributing disaster relief bags labeled with his name.

On social media, people have blasted Binay for electioneering in the devastated areas as photos of his labeled relief goods surfaced online.

Netizens argue that there was no need to label the bags and others say there was no room for early campaigning—especially when the victims of typhoon Yolanda are in desperate need of help.

This is precisely why our country is lacking in so many capabilities, sa mga politikong mapangsamantala, abusado at makasarili. TAMA NA!!
