Vegas community comes together to help shooting victims at local blood bank

After the horrific shooting at a country music festival on the Strip on Sunday, the Las Vegas community came together to help the hundreds of victims at a local blood bank.

These are images of people who formed a line as early as 3 am on Monday morning at United Blood Services.

By Monday evening, the blood center announced it had met the demand for blood donations following the shooting, and encouraged future donors to schedule appointments in the upcoming weeks.

BA talked to Fil-Ams who were among those in line on Monday to donate blood for the shooting victims.
