Los Angeles – A not guilty plea for the man accused of traveling to the Philippines to have sex with young boys. Former University of Southern California professor Walter Lee Williams appeared in federal court to plead not guilty to the charges on Thursday.

A federal judge ordered that he remains in custody because he is considered as a threat to the public and a possible flight risk. A former roommate of Williams is also in custody for possessing child pornography.

Williams, whom authorities believe travelled to the Philippines and other countries to have sex with underage boys was arrested earlier this week after making the FBI’s top ten fugitive list.
