REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – US senators passed a resolution on Tuesday supporting its allies Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines in the midst of their territorial disputes with China in the West Philippine Sea.

Filipino American community leaders particularly from the US Pinoys for Good Governance joined other groups in commending the chairman and members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee at the US capitol for approving Senate Resolution 412, which “condemns coercive and threatening actions of China in this territorial conflict.

The 15-page resolution explains the US government’s national interests in the Asia Pacific region, cites relevant international laws, and lists recent incidents of unilateral actions of China’s government, like their air defense identification zones, dangerous maritime intrusions, and aggressive territorial claims without basis under international laws.

Vietnamese knows how to fight and they ‘ve shown it before … I’m not sure about Filipinos, all they want to do is sing Karaoke , talk big and act tough with no plans.

Yeah the Vietnamese are not cowered because they have the same type of government and tactics. Grab and hold while talking for ever, for they have the patience to wait. They are busy building concrete piles in the middle of the night to put up buildings soon they will be hard to dislodge without a fight. They can do it as they have the numbers in arms and the reluctance of American public opinion to engage to a shooting war as they are tired of war and the great expense of doing it.Look what Japan is doing , though expensive they prepare for such eventualities if in case it come to this. The Chinese fishermen are already tearing up the contested reefs according to the news and all we do is complain.
