REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Defense officials say the first of up to 300 U.S. military advisers will arrive in Iraq as soon as Saturday.

This follows President Obama’s assurance Thursday that American forces will not return to combat in the region.

Officials say the first group of advisers is expected to be small and will conduct an initial assessment of Iraqi troop capabilities and needs.

U.S. military personnel already in Iraq at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad may be reassigned to work with the new advisers immediately.

Meanwhile, a hotline has been set up by the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs for relatives of Filipino workers in Iraq who have questions about their loved ones.

The 24-hour numbers are (02) 552-7105 and (02) 834-4685.

Families can also email their inquiries to oumwa@dfa.gov.ph.

The DFA has urged the estimated 6,000 Filipino nationals in Iraq to contact the Embassy and register for repatriation.

Filipino workers in Iraq should get out ASAP. ISIS rebels is being funded by the Saudi Sunni’s and armed by US intel. The 300 military advisers will eventually recommend the supply of US arm equipments to protect Baghdad Shiite. Iranian Republican Guard are already in Baghdad working with Al Maliki forces. US Mil Indtrl complex is making big money on all sides and the armed sales dealer/broker for this war are the Israeli Jews, who incidentally owned most of the US military manufacturing co. In my opinion, the end game will be 3 separate state. Iraq Kurds in the north, Iraq-Sunni at the center and Iraq-Shiite on the north. To start financial stability for the 3 state, US will lend fresh funds in exchange for oil concessions from each of them. Remember Ukraine,we planned the coup,$2B fresh fund given to them, Joe Biden son is already member of Board on the Ukraine Oil Co.I am happy to see,Obama’s cronies will eventually owned all the oil concessions on the 3 newly created State, rather than Russia for the Kurds,French &Brits for the Sunni and Iran for the Shiite. Take note; it all about war on oil. Have you ever thought who is the secret partner of the Chinese oil exploration in Asia’s disputed island ?

What Obama can’t give America a break? Why do you have to send US Military Advisers to Iraq, you just got out of Iraq. The Answer to all this mess with Iraq is we should do the same thing we did to Japan in World War 11 was drop a “BOMB.” that ended the war in 2 days. Obama drop one “BOMB.” now and see in two days no Iraq Animals that kill for a living. It’s about time we did it if we could, so that no more of kids will get killed in a country that has Animals not humans live there. Kill them all.

I agree. It isn’t any of our business. They haven’t gotten along with each other since 950 AD
