US Marine arraigned for Filipino transgender’s murder

OLONGAPO CITY, PHILIPPINES – US Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton has been arraigned for the murder of Filipino transgender woman Jennifer Laude. The Olongapo City regional trial court entered a not guilty plea for Pemberton.

    Pemberton showed up to court, that what matters. If he showed up with two or three body guards only, someone will just have to complain about it anyway. What we should worry about is about “due process” in our judicial system and that the trial should strictly focus on facts and not what anyone feels, kutob, palagay, sabi-sabi, etc. Everyone wants justice, that for sure! The system is arbitrarial, accuse and victim both argue their case…
