REDWOOD CITY, Calif–The US Labor Department announced that the number of
American seeking jobless benefits hit an all time low since October of
2007. The number of benefits seekers dropped by 15,000 last week to a
seasonally adjusted 320,000.

Companies are lawing off fewer workers and applications for unemployment
benefits dripped by 14% this year.

However, hiring hasn’t recovered as quickly, as employers hired an average
of 4.3 million workers a month this year through June, below the 2006
monthly average of 5.3 million.

the rate of unemployment and considered officially unemployed are those people looking for work. the labor department recorded 86 million people didn’t have a job and weren’t consistently looking for work. therefore, the jobless american workforce are out of the radar of unemployment, and not included in the unemployment statistic. the article is to mislead the uninformed public, to spread out a feeling good false sense of security, anyone who believed surely were sent to the cleaners for good washing.

Balitang America … Don’t you mean many of the 9.5 Milions changed their revenue stream from self work and worth to food stamps, welfare, WIC, goverment housing and phones, disability Social Security benefits or non ending unemployment benifits under the new welfare country of the America?

And what exactly are the jobs being created. Just this week I read a statistic that out of the 900K new jobs, 730K were part time .. Is that a recovery ?
