Two Pinoys in Anchorage drown after fishing boat capsizes

Tragedy struck out on the waters for a group of Pinoys in Alaska last Saturday.

Reports say that on June 17th, Benjamin Jimenez, Ferdinand Salvador, Joel Boado, and Jun Laureta were fishing on a private boat in the resurrection Bay Area outside of Anchorage. At 3 pm, state troopers were notified that their boat capsized.

Sadly, 53-year-old Jimenez,  and 43-year-old Salvador drowned from the capsizing.

Sources say that while Laureta has recovered from the incident, Boado remains in the hospital.
