REDWOOD CITY, Calif. Two relatives of the UC Berkeley student who was infected with measles while visiting the Philippines have come down with the disease.

Contra Costa County health officials alerted the public last month after the infected student rode BART and attended classes, possibly exposing thousands of people to the measles.

The student and the relatives, whose identities have not been disclosed, were not vaccinated against the disease.

Officials urge anyone who has not been vaccinated, or is unsure if they’ve been vaccinated, to check their immunization records.
