Trump remains part of Republican debate despite absence

DES MOINES, IA – GOP front runner Donald Trump may be a few miles away from the Fox News republican debate in Iowa but his presence was felt like a “big elephant in the room”.

“Let’s begin by being clear what this campaign is all about, it’s not about Donald Trump,” said Marco Rubio. “He’s an entertaining guy, he’s the greatest show on earth.”

“I kinda miss Donald Trump,” said Jeb Bush. “He was a little teddy bear to me.”

Citing Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly’s bias against him Trump decided to miss the debate for a veteran’s event and even got the support of two other presidential candidates.

“For me personally is it a good thing,” asked Trump. “A bad thing? Will I get more votes or bad? Nobody knows. You’re going to like it because we raised over $5 million in one day. Over $5 million in one day.”

“Rick Santorum, Donald Trump and I may be competitors in the presidential race but tonight we are colleagues, in unison, standing here for the people who let us breathe every breath of free air we breathe,” said Mike Huckabee.

In Trump’s absence, ted Cruz took center stage.

“I would note that the last four questions been ‘Rand please attack Ted’, ‘Marco please attack Ted’, ‘Chris please attack Ted’, and ‘Jeb please attack Ted,” said Cruz.

Without the billionaire candidate, GOP candidates focused on issues such as immigration reform but it all circled back to trump.

While critics say none of the seven presidential candidates stood out as a big challenger to Trump’s front runner status during last night’s debate the results of February 1st Iowa caucuses may or may not prove otherwise.

    If Trump win on the Iowa caucus,GOP primary will be over.Reagan did not participate on his last GOP debate and lost the Iowa caucus, still he became the President.Smart move by the two GOP Presidential candidate(Huckubee and Santorum), they knew that if Trump win,Trump will still depend on his GOP opponents to fill-up his cabinet. Obama only hope to continue his legacy is Clinton to win. This is my opinion, onced Obama feels that Clinton has no chance of winning against Trump, Obama has two option to do, he will declare Martial Law or create a world war3 senario. Therefore there will be no election and remain as the President forever.
