Trump accused of witness intimidation as public impeachment hearings underway

WASHINGTON DC — Before day 2 of the impeachment hearings began last Friday, the White House released the full transcript of the first call of President Donald Trump congratulations to Ukranian President Zelensky.

Quite notably, there was no mention of the quid pro quo that involved investigating former Vice President Joe Biden and his son — or else the U.S. would withhold military aid.

Republican leader and House intelligence committee ranking member Devin Nunes once again called the public impeachment hearing a spectacle, and demanded for the whistleblower to be called as a witness.
