SACRAMENTO, Calif. – It’s been over six years in the making, but the trial for a brutal murder that took the lives of a 21-year-old Filipino-American and his infant son in South Sacramento has begun.
Donald Ortez-Lucero and Christopher Strong are accused of shooting Filipino-American Sean Aquitania Senior, 21, and his 7-month-old infant son Sean Junior in September of 2007.
Meanwhile, a star witness was taken into police custody in Mexico earlier this week. Frederick Dallas Gill, is believed to be a drug dealer who lived in the home where the shooting occurred.
Aquitania was believed to be visiting his friend Gill while Ortez-Lucero and Strong were allegedly robbing Gill’s home during a drug transaction.
