Another tragedy in Canada. After just three weeks, another car crash has claimed the lives of three temporary workers from the Philippines.
On Saturday, three Filipinos – including a newlywed couple – were killed in a two vehicle crash in Central Alberta.
Their car collided with a five ton moving truck.
Authorities cite icy roads as a possible factor for the crash. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver remains in critical condition, as of this broadcast.
Three weeks ago, four workers from the Philippines also died in a car accident near Leduc.
