Thousands of new COVID-19 infections projected in Canada by October

Canada’s top doctor, Theresa Tam, says the COVID-19 data collected over the last seven days shows an average of more than one thousand daily reported cases, compared to just under 400 in mid-August. The short-term forecast, she says, is that this may increase by up to ten thousand new cases by early October. Rowena Papasin has this report.
