The TNT Boys: Filipino trio make it through “The World’s Best” talent competition

Our tiny kababayans, The TNT Boys, are through to the next round of the new American talent competition “The World’s Best,” which aired its pilot episode right after the Superbowl on CBS on Sunday.

The singing trio more than wowed the judges with their rendition of Beyonce’s “Listen,” as they hit all of the high notes effortlessly — gaining standing ovations from the audience and judges, who were even checking their arms for goosebumps.

American judges Drew Barrymore, RuPaul, and Faith Hill gave them an average score of 49 out of a possible 50, while the judges making up the wall of the world gave them more than enough points to reach a total of 99.

The TNT Boys consist of Francis Concepcion, Mackie Empuerto, and Kiefer Sanchez.

They recently held a sold-out concert at the Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines, and have been on a streak of international appearances, notably the American, UK, and Australian versions of “Little Big Shots.
