LOS ANGELES – As Manny Pacquiao defeated Timothy Bradley, one special lady stole the show. Mommy Dionisia became a trending topic online with her hand gestures and screams, spawning a series of internet memes.

Some believed, she was casting a voodoo spell or a hex on Bradley, while others thought she was cursing the American boxer.

“I was praying to Lord to help my son,” Mommy D explained. “I was praying for him to win so Filipinos will be happy when we come home.”

Mommy D showed Balitang America the secret weapon; which is really a prayer card.

“I was praying hard not only for help for my son, but for him to not be knocked out by Bradley,” she said. “I was also holding the picture of the Baby Jesus while praying.”

The “PacMom” also had her own moment with Bradley after the fight.

“I went inside the ring because I wanted to say sorry…sorry that he lost,” she recalled. “Bradley said, ‘No problem! I’m very proud of your son.’ Wow, he’s proud of Manny. He said he accepts that he lost.”

Mommy D now has lots of newfound fans with some of them even asking for photos with her before she went back to her hotel room.
