REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Special news from The Filipino Channel to second generation Filipino-Americans and other fans of TFC who may not speak Filipino.
TFC’s hottest shows will now be available with English subtitles.
Starting February 1st watch your favorite dramas like Forevermore and MMK, news and talk shows like Bandila and Kris TV, as well as kids shows like Matanglawin – all with English subtitles.
It’s the latest effort by TFC to remove the language barrier so entire families can enjoy all the entertaining programs TFC has to offer.
Here is the complete list of TFC shows that will air with English subtitles beginning Feb. 2.

• Bandila (more positive, less tabloid in content)

• ASAP (date of availability of subtitled version to be subsequently announced)

I haven’t seen subtitles since late April when they suddenly disappeared on all shows. What happened?
While attending school sometime in the mid-90s, my instructor had repeatedly emphasized the 2% rule, which puzzled the majority of students for a few days..? Then one day, Gener Garcia (N.Y. resident) asked…what do you mean by that rule? Instructor said, I mean you have to be atleast 2% smarter than the equipment you are working with…While Aaron is crying, he answers his own line, optional. Apply the 2% theory by utilizing the features of the TV and remove the subtitles….press the button…
