Last year, President Rodrigo Duterte was preparing to speak in his first state of the nation address.
In his first address, the president reiterated his campaign promises one month after taking office.
According to Malacanang, the theme for this year’s speech is “a comfortable life for all” — where Duterte is expected to showcase his achievements in his first year in office as well as laying down his legislative agenda for the next 12 months.
Meanwhile, these Pinoy activists in San Francisco, who have been critical of Pres. Duterte, want to hear about the actual changes he promised.
On Monday in the US, activists will be holding their annual day of action following the SONA at Philippine consulates across the US, to critique the President and call out what they see as his unfulfilled promises.
