REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – “The Trial,” Star Cinema’s 20th anniversary offering, stars John Lloyd Cruz, Richard Gomez, Gretchen Barretto, Jessy Mendiola, and Enrique Gil.
The film is directed by Chito S. Rono.
John Lloyd plays Ronald, a mentally challenged man, who was put into trial after allegedly raping his teacher Bessy, played by Jessy Mendiola.
