SAN FRANCISCO — Located in the Philippine consulate in downtown San Francisco, Spark 447 is a resource center and a co-working space meant for tech start-up companies to convene and build.
Spark 447 is one of the many projects under the consulate’s “Spark, Connect, Empower” movement.
Newly-appointed Philippine Ambassador to the US, Jose Manuel Romualdez, says that due to Spark 447’s innovation and the rise of the Philippine economy — he hopes he can duplicate the program in other parts of the US.
“The Philippines is the country with the fastest growing economy, the second in the world. We are only second to India which gives you an idea of how the economy in the Philippines is moving quickly and this Spark is going to spark it even more with your participation.”
