Some Alberta Pinoys admit Easter celebrations back home are better

EDMONTON, Alberta – Many kababayans all over the world are commemorating Good Friday by taking to heart the sacrifices of Jesus Christ on the cross and his death at Calvary. But while Filipinos in Canada keep age-old Filipino traditions alive during Holy Week, they’re missing how it’s all observed in the Philippines.
