Slashing $600 unemployment enhancement a sticking point for Dems in GOP’s coronavirus relief bill

The proposals of the Senate Republicans and House Democrats have some stark differences that need to be ironed out. One of the most critical— the $600 weekly enhancement for jobless Americans. The GOP is proposing to slash this amount to $200 a week and put in place a wage replacement of 70% in extended unemployment benefits.

The Democrat offers a $3Trillion, the GOP said too expensive, they counteroffer for $1 Trillion. The PUA(Pandemic Unemployment Assistance) $ 600 will expire until the end of JULY, The Democrat wants to extend, GOP said 51M unemployed will not go back to work, they earn more staying home (600+270= $870/wk). The GOP reduced it to $200/week +200 = $470/week until October. Then TRUMP wanted to give another STIMULUS of $1200 Direct deposit to everybody who files their taxes. TRUMP asked the DEMOCRAT to pass the COVID PROTECTION WAIVER for business. This bill says that you can not SUE any Restaurants, your employer if you are diagnosed with COVID. PELOSI and the Democrat did not AGREE, because the Asso of TRIAl lawyers and Lawyers league are the biggest DONORS of the Dems Party. If it will not pass, expect the Lawyers will start suing and bankcrupt all Restaurants, Employers, if their customers, employees getting COVID while eating, etc.
