SF Fil-Ams say police chief’s resignation came too late

SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco Chief of Police Greg Suhr resigned Thursday, just hours after an African American woman was killed in an officer-involved shooting. The shooting was the latest in a history of minority deaths at the hands of the SFPD and a scandal involving racist text messages exchanged between officers that included slurs against Filipinos.     Sometimes the problem is not only the police chief, it’s the whole department, because the whole police department can make it work or can’t it work with in the police department.
