Sen. Rubio promises forward-looking presidency to voters

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – “Grounded by the lessons of our history, but inspired by the promise of our future, I announce my candidacy for President of the United States,” Republican Senator Marco Rubio made this big announcement Monday evening during a speech in Miami.

The 43-year old son of Cuban exiles is the youngest candidate in the rapidly growing 2016 president. His pledge to voters — restore the American Dream. He said, “America doesn’t owe me anything.  But, I have a debt to America that I must try to repay.  This isn’t just a country where I was born.  America is literally the place that changed my family’s history.”

Senator Marco Rubio of Florida announced on Monday that he is running for president, declaring that he is the best person to lead the United States into “another American century.”

Mr. Rubio made his announcement Monday evening during a speech here in which he presented himself as the embodiment of generational change who can unite the Republican Party’s factions and offer economic solutions for the 21st century.

At 43, the youngest candidate in the rapidly growing 2016 presidential field, Mr. Rubio cast himself as a forward-looking, next-generation leader — and an implicit contrast to Jeb Bush, 62, whose family has dominated Republican politics for nearly three decades, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, 67, the wife of a former president and the most likely Democratic nominee.

Rubio, who’s been called a rising star in the Republican party by Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus, positioned himself as a next-generation leader that’s more forward-looking compared to fellow Floridian Jeb Bush, 62, and former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, 67.

He remarked, “Too many of our leaders and our ideas are stuck in the 20th century.”

This is where Rubio stands on some key issues: On immigration, Rubio supports a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants and he co-authored the bipartisan immigration bill that passed in the Senate but died in the House. On the economy, Rubio wants to reduce tax rates for most taxpayers and expand child tax credits. But he opposes raising the minimum wage because he thinks it would lead to less hiring. On same-sex marriage, Rubio believes a marriage should only stay between a man and a woman. But he said he opposes discrimination against gays and lesbians.

Rubio now joins Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky in vying for the Republican nomination. The field is expected to get even more crowded next months, with Bush, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie also eyeing the race for the White House.

rubio admitted path to citizenship of illegal aliens is the biggest mistake of the bipartisan gang of 8. he redeemed self among the conservative base through his own admissions the immigration reformed he co-wrote was a learning curve, reassessing, rewriting piece by piece, rather than a massive comprehensive immigration bills of amnesty proven to be a debacle, learned from the 80″s reagan’s amnesty, not only short changing americans, but end up with the shortest end of the sticks, with heavy social / financial burdens of a lifetime for every americans all the way to the next, next, next generations. rubio no longer support comprehensive immigration bill, believing obobo’s’s unlawful amnesty of illegal aliens is one of many of his ways sabotaging the constitution, and must be overturned at all cost.

    1) (RUBIO) he wants tough US border security.

    2) he wants strict interior enforcement with mandatory E-verify, entry-exit tracking system.

    3) he wants new visa policies on merit based, by nulling existing family-based or family ties immigration,
to be replaced with work / skilled-based immigration, i.e. high-tech visas, limited guest worker seasonal programs.

all of the above must be verifiably enforced before addressing the so called 11-12 millions illegal aliens, which less than a third are the so called DAPA category. one of the requirements – it will take 10 years after coming forward to fulfill requirements for illegal aliens to apply for permanent visas, which the socialist politicians are up against, instead opting for obobo’s free for all amnesty of illegal aliens, disrespecting america’s sovereignty, open border attracting out of control illegal aliens crossing the borders. rubio’s immigration initiatives get supports for it is not by all means an amnesty. it is also meant to deter illegal aliens illegal entries / overstays.

rubio and his same party challengers are going to duke it out to win the elephant nomination. killery have been anointed as the one of the demoncrap party, given the over 92million freeloaders captured voters of the demoncraps, killery is too confident she is really the one, thus her opponent must possess the GOD given gift of wisdom in the name of the nation’s survival.
