Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV wants to expose the real Rodrigo DU30

NEW YORK — Philippine Senator Antonio Trillanes IV made another response to allegations, that he is up to no good in the US.

He says he will continue to meet with undisclosed US government officials, with one goal in mind: to raise awareness of what’s really happening in the Philippines.

“Lahat ito ay based sa open sources that these US officials can easily verify, to my surprise nga mas alam pa nila, yung mga specific details so hindi mo mabobola ang us government and their officials, they do their homework.”

Malacanang said it hopes Trillanes will not provide what it called biased information to US officials.
Trillanes also denied allegations that he will try to convince US senators to stop President Donald Trump from going to the Philippines.

“Hindi po totoo yan, wala pong ganyang pinag-usapan, saka wala akong kapangyarihan to do that. Hindi yan basta-basta nakakancel on the mere say so of one Philippine official.”

Trillanes says Malacanang has nothing to be worried about his meetings here, especially when it comes to Philippine-US relations.

“Wala silang pwedeng ipangamba sa mga ganyang aspeto dahil ako ay pinopromote ko lang yung katotohan at yung interest ng ating bansa and let me just stress na ang interest ng ating bansa is not necessarily the same as yung interest ni Duterte.”

He told the Fil-Am Press Club of New York that his motivation for exposing what he calls “the real Rodrigo Duterte” to the world.

When Trillanes uncovered Duterte’s alleged millions in secret bank deposits, he said, “That makes him a mass murderer and corrupt pa, which is hindi alam ng ating mga kababayan, so I did my best to inform the public para makita nila yung katotohanan.”

Trillanes says will be meeting with Filipino community leaders and members in the US East Coast in the next few days to spread the word.

    Trillanes is talking about open sources that can be verified easily? I hope he is not talking about Rappler or Philstar or Magdalo.com? So, government officials know more? Trillanes is a senator in the Philippines, he said that U.S. government officials would know more because they have done their homework? How come most of the democrat senators are are relying information provided by one sided and self righteous media outlets.
