Would like to commend Ms. Gina Lopez on her role as the Philippines Department of Environment and Natural Resources Secretary. We strongly believe that the ongoing-unresolved “mountain pile of thrash” damaging our seashores (specially Manila and neighboring cities) be resolved… The reality is that there are so many irresponsible informal settlers everywhere in Manila area dumping all kinds of thrash in their backyard and expect the government to clean it up for them.
