Seahawks’ Baldwin apologizes for offending fans at Super Bowl

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The Seattle Seahawks’ Fil-am wide receiver Doug Baldwin said he is sorry for making a controversial pose during the Super Bowl.

After his third quarter touchdown at the Super Bowl, Baldwin squatted over the ball as if defecating on it.

The NFL slapped him with a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct and fined him $11,025.

Baldwin told ESPN on Monday that he regretted costing his team 15 yards and apologized for offending any fans.
