SAN FRANCISCO – Historic news out of San Francisco for the city’s South of Market Area neighborhood; an area that has been a hub for Filipino immigrants for over 100 years. In a unanimous decision, city supervisors passed a plan to designate the neighborhood as a Filipino cultural heritage district. It’s a move that has been years in the making. Rommel Conclara reports.
