REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Iconic filmmaker Garry Marshall has given us many memorable movies like “Beaches” and “Pretty Woman”.
But like most of Marshall’s films, “Mother’s Day” is a bit formulaic. Yet the director, who has also given us other holiday movies namely “Valentine’s Day” and “New Year’s Eve” has finally perfected his ensemble genre. “Mother’s Day” is the best of his holiday trilogy.
Marshall knows how to tickle your funny bone while making you cry. This one is meant to celebrate our first love – our moms.
