Pulitzer Prize 2018 winners, including two Filipinos, recognized in New York City

NEW YORK CITY — For their relentless reporting that exposed the brutal alleged killing campaign behind Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs, news organization Reuters —  including Filipino correspondent Manuel “Manny” Mogato — received this year’s Pulitzer Prize for international reporting.

Mogato and all of the winners, including Filipino-American Columbia journalism school graduate Mariel Padilla, were recognized at a luncheon at Columbia University in New York Wednesday.

The Pulitzer Prize is the highest and most prestigious award in journalism, literature and music composition.
