SAN FERNANDO, Calif–Preliminary trials have begun in the quadruple murders that left four people, including three Filipinos dead.

Ka Pasasouk is accused of murder. He is believed to have shot and killed Filipinos Robert Calabia, Jojo
Navales and Amanda Ghossein as well as Korean American Jennifer Kim.

His ex girlfriend Christina Neal testified that she lived at the boarding home where Pasasouk allegedly killed the four people and said they had broken up days before the incident. She added that Pasasouk then went on a drug and alcohol binge eventually appearing at her home with his friend. He then beat her up. Neal explained he threatened to shoot her, so she hid in the bushes where she heard gun shots.

Pasasouk eventually told her that he had shot three people. Along with two others, they then fled to Las Vegas where they were eventually tracked down by authorities. Witness testimonies are expected to last throughout the week. The family members of Robert Calabia, one of the victims told Balitang America that they will be attending some of the hearings throughout the week.
