Poll: 85% of Filipinos trust and approve of President Duterte’s performance

Despite criticisms from Fil-Am activists and pressure from international governments and human rights organizations, President Duterte continues to enjoy high approval ratings in the Philippines. According to a Pulse Asia survey, 85% of Filipinos trust and approve of President Duterte’s performance. 80 percent of those polled approve of his performance, according to a Social Weather Stations Survey.

When it comes to the ongoing war on drugs and the Philippines’ crime rate, members of the Digong Duterte Supporters of Northern California backed the president’s actions, including his call for the death penalty.

Filipinos who are in the right mind would rather choose a safer and drug free community that is managed, administered, supervised or mandated by iron fist like President Duterte…Are you going to listen the lying drug dealers, pushers, protectors, drugs lords, kingpins, or whatever you want to call them. There is no doubt that those who are crying about human rights violation and extra judicial killing are relatives, friends (boyfriends-girlfriends), classmates, lovers (same or opposite), etc. of those died or got caught as the result of anti-drug operation. The sad part about this is that the media is amplifying if not exaggerating figures that are not back with actual facts, sometimes just simply adding all the crime figures and calling it actual figures instead of breaking it down according the specific crimes they are supposed to be (e.g. homicide, murder, rape, drug possession or trafficking, etc.).
It gets better when a group of young FIL-AMS who are obviously misled or misguided with lies are out in the streets of New York, Chicago and San Francisco bickering about President Duterte. But now, the truth are slowly coming out that anti-drug operations are getting rid of drug dealers-pushers…
