REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Police have arrested two men Tuesday in connection with the shooting of a man inside a downtown San Rafael Filipino restaurant last month.

According to police, 19-year-old Christian Fernando Moran and 20-year-old Victor Alexis Deleon, both of San Rafael, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and conspiracy.

Moran was arrested Tuesday after questioning at the San Rafael police department.

Deleon was already in custody at the Marin County jail where he was booked for an alleged probation violation.

He was re-booked on the attempted murder and conspiracy counts.

Police received an early morning call about the shooting on March 1.

Witnesses say the gunman entered Pa’s Mexican and Filipino cuisine restaurant and shot the 31-year-old victim several times before fleeing.

According to police, there were about 20 people in the restaurant at the time of the shooting.

The victim, who has not been identified, underwent surgery at Marin General Hospital.
