Pinoy political expert: Obama’s stubbornness may have led to Dems loss

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – President Barack Obama and the leadership in the now Republican-controlled Senate and House may have expressed their willingness to work on issues they all agree on. But with President Obama still expressing his plans to act on his own by issuing executive orders on immigration before the end of the year — could he ruin his chances to have a better relationship with the GOP?

Newly re-elected Kentucky Senator and possible Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell expressed that President Obama taking unilateral action on immigration would be a big mistake. He said, “It’s like waving a red flag in front of a bull to say, ‘if you guys don’t do what I want, I’m going to do it on my own,’ and the President’s done that on Obamacare, he’s done it on immigration, and threatening to do it again. I hope he won’t do that because I do think it poisons the well for the opportunity to address a very important domestic issue.”

Republican House Speaker John Boehner also warned Obama that he will burn himself if he continues to go down this path. Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice said Obama is going after a problem that’s meddlesome and potentially divisive.

Political Science Professor Jay Gonzalez told Balitang America that President Obama’s stubbornness on issues he cares about may have provided Republicans ammunition to bring down Democrats in the elections.

Gonzales said, “They really hammered President Obama and what the people felt are his weaknesses — number one, the unpopularity of Obamacare and secondly, the issue of imigration. Obama and the (Democratic) candidates are essentially promising amnesty, which is a very unpopular initiative in the eyes of many.”

He said the Democrats’ loss in the midterm elections, could have an impact on the Democrats’ future campaigns, even former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s possible presidential bid in 2016. Gonzalez said, “It will have a spillover effect to Hillary’s campaign. She will have to dissociate herself from policies which the general public feel are unpopular.”

For now, the GOP leadership hopes their policies on tax reforms and job creation will get the support, not just of President Obama, but the American people as well.

Political experts said no doubt, President Obama will have a tough time in the last two years of his administration, but they insisted that he has to find a common ground between him and the Republicans to truly make things happen in Washington.

Obama still campaigning, does’nt acknowledge that his policies destroyed and ruined the Democrat Party for several years.Election result said “dumped the liberal Democrat agenda”.Hillary and BillClinton distance themselves from Obama and campaigned so hard, but 31 of their candidates went to lose from GOP. She is finished for 2016. Its CA Gov.Jerry Brown turn, running against NY Gov Cummo on the primary for Dems President. Obama will support him since Obama will retire in CA in preparation on Michelle for Senator of CA on 2018.

Now that Obama has lost the Senate and House he finds himself a lone mad-dog, still desperately trying to fundamentally transform America into a Communist People’s Republic. His foaming-at-the-mouth oratory will rapidly get more hysterical and whacked-out, as he tries to go around Congress and the Constitution.

obozo continue to be in denial the mid tern election is a referendum against his ideologues. lawlessness is obozo’s weakness, without shame with his amnesty to proceed, in spite of the fact without a doubt the voters have rejected on 11-04-14. the throwback stronghold unions are very much against the amnesty of obozo, voicing the jobs for their union members will be taken away by the illegal aliens, once legalized the wrong obozo way, his unconscionable executive order, a very bad move for america, americans, legal residents, and those applying the legal way to enter the sovereign USA. legal experts have weighed in on obozo’s amnesty to be unconstitutional, and a base for impeachment. clearly, this commie obozo couldn’t care less about america, his already tarnished legacy, without determination to uplift his legacy for the next two years, with his plan to bring the predominant house/senate with him down on his failure plan. yes, the congress must be crystal clear with the people through the medias, with the obozo’s power of vetoes on all of the elephant initiatives to better/successful lives of the people can be a dirty political game. obviously, the huge problems are the commie, lame stream medias untruthful reporting through their twisting, spinning their viewer’s minds, as evidenced by their past spinning, distorted reporting, the congress as a do nothing congress. the fact now have surfaced the ruse reid have not put none of the elephant bills for floor debate, to push the commie agendas of obozo. this blatant action could have impeached an elephant politician. my anger is these donkey politicians were all able to get away with murder with their illegal actions, undermining america’s legal system, like they all are laughing behind the backs of every americans.
