GLENDORA, Calif. – A Filipino nursing assistant in Southern California has been arrested for allegedly stealing from his elderly patient.

Maui Berganio was arrested for allegedly obtaining and using his elderly patient’s debit card information to make online purchases without her knowing.

It’s believed that 29-year-old Berganio may have taken over $40,000 from the victim who is now deceased.

Investigators say Berganio has worked at multiple facilities and they are now trying to see if he may have done similar crimes.

kikay, be careful about that! He’s probably wanting to expedite his BF petition? If the media interviews him, he’s gonna do it with the best drama…start crying and saying that he did it in the name of love, isn’t it? Have you heard that line before?
