ORLANDO, Fla – The International Association Of Amusement Parks And Attractions (IAAPA) Expo in Orlando Florida is the largest trade show of its kind featuring the latest and most exciting products and services for the theme park industry.

Organizers say the expo attracts more than 44,000 attendees and buyers in over 100 countries including the Philippines.

A newly launched Zamperla Skyrace ride that comes with a spectacular LED visual effect is made in the Philippines.

Zamperla is an Italian amusement ride manufacturer but marketing manager Marco Mazzucchi says they have been manufacturing many of these rides in the Philippines since 1997

Zamperla Philippines employs 160 engineering and creative staff making high quality fun kiddie and family rides.

“The advantage is the labor cost in this way we can offer to the market cheaper product,” Mazzuchi said. “The quality is actually quite good.”

Themebuilders Philippines is a Filipino company that manufactures, designs and installs world class theme projects. Their clients include Sentosa’s Merlion in Singapore, the Ocean Park in Hong Kong, and Luna Park in Melbourne, Australia.

Themebuilders Philippines has been commissioned to create the decorations for the Sochi Winter Games in Russia next year.

“I think it has to do with the natural presence in the Filipino talented race of people so to speak,” Themebuilders Philippines CEO John Swartebroeckx said. “There is an abundance of talent in the Philippines, its just a matter of gathering them together and since we are catering to an international audience its is more or less like you know.”

“We got to know lately that more and more foreigners are investing back to the Philippines basically because of Filipino creativity, and our sense of quality,” Themebuilders Philippines General Manager Dorothy Mercado said. “Everything is made in the Philippines, everything created by the Filipino.”

The world’s first coin operated 3DME photobooth instantly creates 3D photos. It was unveiled at the IAAPA tradeshow and is proudly Philippine made.

3DME’s Sandra Santos said, “I believe the Filipinos are one of the best graphic artists, we have the best–better than the Chinese artists. Our technology is in house, as well. Our people and our staff are well trained and world class.”

The newly inducted first ever Filipino chairman of IAAPA says that under his leadership in 2014 he plans to expand these trade shows and its membership worldwide especially in Asia and the Philippines.

“Because of this we will improve the direction of this industry globally, and it will also help the improvement and upgrading of the industry in our own Philippines,” IAAPA Chair Mario Mamon said.

Hey! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how
to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks
weird when browsing from my apple iphone. I’m trying to find a theme
or plugin that might be able to resolve this issue.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Thank you!
