REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Police arrested over the weekend LBC worker Leopoldo Pacuan as a suspect in the death of his co-worker, 63-year-old Raquel Morales.
Morales was found dead with trauma earlier this month at the LBC Express store in Mira Mesa, Calif. where she worked.
Reports say Pacuan was on leave, but he returned to the store to rob it and left physical evidence behind after the robbery attempt.
Pacuan is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement regarding the Morales case, LBC wrote it has provided all the information and timelines necessary to aid in the investigation.
