REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – San Bernardino City School Unified District officials have put Bernadette Yuson on administrative leave after one of her students complained that she used the “n” word in reference to the African American students.

In a story by the San Bernardino Sun, Yuson was rearranging the students’ seats, when an African American student asked why Yuson was moving the black students.

She then allegedly responded by saying “because I want to move all the (n-word)”.

The student then made a complaint to the district, who confirmed that Yuson used the racial slur.

Officials are now deciding which steps to take next.

In the meantime, a war of words has erupted on the San Bernardino Sun’s Facebook page between community members. Many have come to Yuson’s defense and have challenged the credibility of the students.

Balitang America has reached out to Yuson, and a family spokesperson says she has declined to comment for now.

Fil. are the most racist and prejudice people …. they don’t like their dark skin color and would rather spend their money on skin whitening products.
