CLARKSVILLE, TENN. – 37-year-old Fil-Am Nancy Lowry died last Wednesday of multiple stab wounds, allegedly inflicted by the suspect, 21-year-old Joshua Glenn Black.
Family members say Black and Lowry were friends.
Black has been charged with murder, and is being held on a $2 million bond.
He has yet to post bail and enter a plea.
He is currently in custody at the Montgomery County Jail until his next court date in July.
Nancy’s brother, Tom Lowry tells Balitang America in a phone interview that she and the suspect had an argument before she was killed.
“Him and my sister according to the detective and this is his statement. He and her got into an argument over that and an assault took place in the bathroom, moved down the hallway. My sister fought back trying to defend herself in that process. She ordered her boys to wake themselves up by her shrill screams. They woke up, ran out of the house to safety. This is tough. Nancy saved their lives,” said Tom Lowry.
