Rick Donnelly. “I’m satisfied there’s nothing criminal here,” Donnelly said, adding that there is no criminal investigation underway. The woman, Joanna Soriano, 19, was located by the New York City Police Department. Her being found ended a four-week-long investigation between the Lynn Police Department, Massachusetts State Police and the NYPD. Donnelly said there had been a few sightings of Soriano before the NYPD was able to confirm her identity. He said it was “unfortunate that it took this long to find her and that she didn’t call us.” “She’s in good spirits and appears fine,” Donnelly said. Soriano’s sister, Jessica, said that she was informed by the police that Joanna was in New York City. “She was actually seen there earlier, and it was just last night that the police were able to go there,” Jessica Soriano said. Further attempts to reach Jessica Soriano by phone about the details of her sister’s disappearance were unsuccessful.
