Philippines showcases at The New York Times Travel Show

NEW YORK — Not quite sure where to go and take a break from the daily grind? Which part of the world to explore next?

With more than 550 travel exhibitors and 280 travel industry speakers from around the world, the New York Times travel show is the biggest in America.

The Philippines was among the diverse exhibitors.

Beyond showcasing the beauty of the Philippines through travel vlogs and social media, there’s also good news to share too.

Philippine Department of Tourism‘s Susan Del Mundo says that in 2018, the country achieved an all-time record high of 7.1 million (7,127,168) tourist arrivals. (That’s 7.65% higher than 2017’s 6.62 million visitors.)
