REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Authorities in Washington State are calling the case of a missing 6-year-old Filipino American girl a “missing person’s case with suspicious circumstances”.

Police say Jenise Wright’s parents noticed their daughter was missing when they woke up on Sunday, but they didn’t alert police until late that night.

On Monday, the search for Jenise around the area of her family’s East Bremerton home intensified when local law enforcement was joined by FBI and state investigators.

Later in the day Jenise’ parents allowed their home to be searched and they submitted to a lie detector test.

Jenise is described as Caucasian, Native American, and Filipino. She is 3 feet tall, weighs 45 pounds and has black hair.

Anyone with information on Jenise’s whereabouts can call Kitsap County Central Communications at (360) 308-5400.
