About a month ago, a Filipina American from Arizona teen died in a freak golf cart accident. The family now speaks out and tells Balitang America that they continue to mourn the loss of their daughter Julieann Arancel. However the Arancel family is contemplating possible legal action based on the results of the ongoing investigations. The 16-year-old was one of nine teens riding a golf cart that rolled over the night of August 10th.

Initial investigations show that Arancel was standing near the driver as the cart rolled over after making a right turn. She was thrown out of the cart, hit her head on the asphalt and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Investigators have initially ruled out drugs and alcohol.

How can you contemplating possible legal action based on the results of the ongoing investigations ? Did the family know that only two people can ride a golf cart ? It’s not like the philippines people ride jeeps with people over load, I golf and I ride on a golf cart all the time and only two can ride, not nine people ! I feel sorry for the family !
