Pacquiao’s morning routines are a team effort, often flanked by fellow fighters under the MP Promotions banner.
All of them trying to learn from the 8 division champion.
3 division champion John Riel Casimero will fight in the Philippines in August, and former champ Jhack Tepora is keeping up his maintenance after a dominant win last month.
“Masaya kami dito mag tatraining kasi marami pilipino and isang team kami at hindi boring pag sisikap nam kasi an dyan kami lahat. Masaya sa training kahit mahirap, kaya sinikap natin.”
Two of the Pacman’s training partners will give Pinoy fight fans a reason to tune in early to the July 20 fight card.
18 and 1 Genisis Libranza, whose only loss was in a 2017 world title shot, faces Carlos Maldonado. He’s been training alongside the rest team Pacquiao since last month, even before he received this assignment.
“Maganda maganda ang training namin kasi ka sabay ko si senator, and sorbing ganda ang training naman so preparado kami lahat. So condition na so may three-week para sa laban. So mag skip pa kami.”
After losing a split decision in Pacquiao’s January card, welterweight Jayar Inson returns to take on veteran Mahonri Montes of Mexico.
“Masaya masaya aksi şahit na tablo ako last, binigyan naman ako pages’le kataoon na kalaban.”
