NEW YORK CITY – Manny Pacquiao’s reign as the greatest boxer is not over and this is what he is trying to prove at the “Clash in Cotai” – when he battles Brandon Rios at the Venetian in Macau, China this November.

In a press conference in New York, the Philippine boxing champ said that his boxing career did not end when Juan Manuel Marquez knocked him out in Las Vegas last year.

“But I tell you this, on the last fight my condition is amazing,” Pacquiao said, “My condition is one of the best conditions of my boxing career. It just happened that on that 6th round, I got too careless in the fight and too aggressive and become careless and he got me with a good shot.”

Brandon Rios however believes that the Pacman’s fighting days may be numbered.

“That’s my goal, to put him to retirement, like I said, one Mexican knocked him out, this Mexican is going to retire him,” Rios said.

Fans here say, after a losing streak – there’s no way but up for their idol.

Richie Divinagracia, a fan from Bergenfield, NJ said, ”Plagay ko eh knock out po yan pero late round.”

Pacquiao repeatedly assured fans that he is not going to hang up his gloves anytime soon.
