LOS ANGELES – After holding the first two weeks of training camp in General Santos, Manny Pacquiao will begin the Los Angeles portion this week.

“Now the Team Pacquiao, we work together,” Assistant Trainer Buboy Fernandez said. “This is the rematch of Manny and Bradley so we need to work hard. We need to stay away from controversy during training and the fight.”

The Pacman and financial advisor Michael Koncz were greeted by strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune before he was quickly escorted away by his entourage through the terminal’s side door.

Fernandez, who was among the last team members to walk out of the gate, says the team has been happy with recent changes during the first two weeks of training in General Santos, including a new organic diet and new sparring partners.

“All the guys working with Team Pacquiao, we are happy with our new conditioning coach and were working together with Justin Fortune,” Fernandez said. “And we look forward to giving good conditioning to our champion.”

Pacquiao is scheduled to begin the four- week Los Angeles leg of his camp on Monday at the newly renovated Wild Card Gym.

With a new schedule, new gym, new teammates, and new habits, the Pacman is hoping the changes bring out his old self with the aggressive killer instinct when the highly anticipated rematch takes place next month.
