The next fight for Philippine boxing icon Manny Pacquiao may be in a courtroom.

Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz has responded to suggestions by doctor Rustico Jimenez, President of the Private Hospitals Association of the the Philippines, that the Pacman is showing early signs of Parkinson’s disease.

Koncz told that the team is contemplating a civil suit for meritless and unfounded accusations.

Shortly after Pacquiao’s crushing December eighth loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, Jimenez said Pacquiao showed early signs of the neurological disease, and suggested that he undergo medical evaluations, and retire.

Meantime, Pacquiao, who is on vacation in Israel, told the Manila Bulletin that he is fine, and ultimately he will be the one to decide when he retires.
